Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

As an assembler, you will be responsible for product assembly, inspection, testing, and handling shipping and receiving duties. Your role will involve working with small parts and components using various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

Assemble, inspect, or test small parts/components using hand tools, tweezers, and micro-assembly tools with precision.

Follow mechanical and SOP-based assembly processes with at least 1 year of experience preferred.

Demonstrate excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to perform fine motor tasks for extended periods.

Work with tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers, and handle small intricate parts.

Read and interpret SOPs, blueprints, and detailed instructions accurately.

Perform basic and customized assembly of small mechanical components, occasionally using a magnifying glass for intricate processes.

Lift up to 50 pounds on rare occasions, with regular lifting around 10-20 pounds.

Conduct step-by-step inspections to ensure customer specifications are met and all procedures are completed correctly.

Utilize fixtures and tools to perform basic testing of components and finished products.

Essential Skills

Mechanical assembly experience.

Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

Soldering and finishing skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Basic math skills.

Ability to read and follow work instructions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $28.00/hr.
