GENERAL PURPOSE Operate and maintain line equipment for the product runs that meet established production standards needed for maximum efficiency and quality standards. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare, operate, maintain, and stock assigned production line or station Maintain equipment in full operational status by making adjustments to equipment Ensure operation of equipment by troubleshooting malfunctions and notifying the proper individuals when needed for preventative maintenance or issues needing attention Maintain quality by observing operations and adjusting with speed controls and troubleshooting Maintain and clean equipment according to guidelines and expectations Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required. Other duties may be assigned as required EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent preferred Production or general work experience preferred Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Able to follow directions and carry out instructions Able to effectively work in a team environment Able to legibly write entries for record keeping Able to work in a fast-paced environment Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Must be able to read, write and speak English BENEFITS Health and Sick benefits begin 1st of the month after start date 401(k) with company contribution - 100% vested at day one of eligibility Competitive pay Gain Share Program Paid vacation and holidays Career growth opportunities - we promote from within!
