The Corporate FP&A Business Support team is hiring for a senior finance manager to lead the team responsible for strategic finance support for our Global Technology function. As a senior finance manager on the team, you will provide exceptional finance support to our business and finance leaders; lead a team delivering planning, reporting and analysis; and drive business value through influencing investment decisions. The senior finance manager will have the opportunity to lead the vision and strategy for the team; lead complex strategic business cases and will lead a team to deliver best-in-class partnership to business leaders. The senior finance manager will need to balance priorities, leverage change leadership skills and exercise a growth mindset to expand our capabilities and lead a team of finance professionals in their development, to enhance the skills and expertise of the team.
As a senior finance manager in the FP&A Business Support team, you will...
Manage the development of strategic plans, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasting, including the consolidations of Enterprise-wide forecasts
Influence leadership and make recommendations to executive teams
Lead a team of finance professionals in conducting complex analysis of key performance measures to influence decision-making for the company
Influence the business outcomes and support executives and senior leaders in developing plans, annual budgets and in the creation of business cases
Build new ways of working and develop new processes, tools and solutions to scale FP&A activities
We'd love to hear from people with:
Experience of building effective teams, experience in coaching, providing feedback and developmental opportunities reports (4-6 years)
Experience with budgeting and forecasting, depth of knowledge in consolidations and core FP&A activities (9 years)
Progressive experience in financial management including financial analysis, variance analysis, cost allocation, fact-finding or auditing (9 years)
Progressive experience in financial analysis, modeling, and business planning (5-7 years)
Making recommendations to and influencing decision makers (5+ years)
Experience leading cross-functional teams and/or projects (5+ years)
Prior experience supporting a Technology organization preferred

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
