Job Posting: Collections Specialist

This role is a wonderful opportunity for organized, driven, and detail-oriented individuals who enjoy building relationships while resolving outstanding account balances.

Key Responsibilities:

Communicate and proactively with customers regarding overdue accounts to facilitate payments via phone, email, or written communication.

Collaborate with internal departments (such as billing and sales) to resolve account discrepancies and disputes efficiently.

Maintain clear, accurate records of collection activities and customer interactions in accordance with company policy.

Identify areas for improved collection practices and recommend process improvements.

Prepare detailed reports for management on account status and collection progress.

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. Here are the preferred qualifications for this role:

Previous experience in collections, accounts receivable, or customer service is preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive financial conversations professionally and empathetically.

Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Workday) is beneficial but not required.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field is a plus but is not mandatory.
