Robert Half is currently assisting a valued client in hiring a Data Entry Clerk to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with large volumes of information.

About the Role:

The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in the company's systems and databases. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, excellent typing skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Enter data accurately into databases, spreadsheets, or proprietary systems

Verify and correct data to ensure completeness and accuracy

Perform regular audits to identify and resolve data inconsistencies

Maintain organized filing systems-digital and/or physical

Assist with generating reports or summaries based on collected data

Handle confidential information with discretion

Collaborate with other departments to ensure data accuracy and workflow efficiency

Requirements

Proven experience in a data entry or clerical support role preferred

Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Strong typing and data entry skills (speed and accuracy)

Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines

High school diploma or equivalent required
