Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer of Local Stations, this is a key leadership role on the Local Stations finance team. The NBC Local Stations Group consists of 11 NBC Owned Stations, 31 Telemundo Owned Stations, 4 Regional Sports Networks ("RSNs"), 3 Digital Multicast Networks and 16 FAST Channels. This role provides a unique opportunity to become immersed in and influence the operations of the multiplatform Local Television businesses.
This role will lead all financial activity for the Local Ad Sales business - both Linear and Digital, including the dynamic Local Spot On advertising. The Senior Vice President will also support the Local Digital business and initiatives, including FAST channels and the product backbone of the Stations digital platforms. The Senior Vice President will also oversee the financial support for the Technical Operations of the Local Stations, partnering with the stations themselves and NBCU Operations & Technology. This role will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team of the Local Stations and drive presentations to the President of Local Stations and the Chief Business Officer of NBC News Group, in addition to other key internal NBCU stakeholders. The position has multiple direct reports and requires solid leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Responsibilities include:
Own financial forecasting for all linear and digital advertising revenue for Local Stations & RSNs, partnering with NBCU Local Chief Revenue Officer and the VP of Sales for each of the regions to drive accurate forecasts
Drive quarterly revenue reporting and publish weekly internal reporting packages with key revenue drivers and KPI metrics to leadership to influence decision making
Partner with NBCU Ad Sales division for internal ad sales reporting to NBCU Ad Sales management
Oversee and manage quarterly reporting of ad sales cost, including rev share cost, C&B, and sales incentive compensation
Own and publish the NBCU Local Digital P&L (including Diginets and Fast Channels as well as the product cost base); partner with the Local Digital and Multiplatform leaders to analyze and drive decision making
Partner with Executive Vice President of Technical Operations and his leadership team to drive overall tech strategy and financial planning; oversee Capital Management for NBC, Telemundo, and RSN Capital budgets
Partner with the Local and News Group FP&A teams for reporting and presentation to Local, News Group, and NBCU Leadership
Assign / Execute on other ad hoc requests as assigned by the CFO and Chairman
Successfully manage, develop, and motivate a team of 10+
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 15+ years' experience in finance, accounting, or a related field
Prior relevant senior financial management and leadership experience, preferably in a dynamic, transformative matrixed organization.
Significant finance and accounting skills, including experience in Ad Sales and other media operations

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the NYC office a minimum of three days per week
