Collections Manager

This position is responsible for mitigating loan losses by monitoring
and coordinating collection efforts on delinquent accounts. This
includes management of foreclosure prevention activities on loans
included in Repayment and Forbearance plans, Short Sales, Deeds in Lieu
of Foreclosure, and Loan Modifications, as well as processing insurance
claims with investors, insurance companies, or government/private
insurance agencies. In addition, this position is responsible for
monitoring judicial and non-judicial foreclosures and managing Credit
Union approved attorney relationships to ensure that accounts assigned
to foreclosure are concluded in a timely manner. In addition, this
position is responsible for ensuring business unit?s compliance with
applicable laws, regulations, and Credit Union policies and procedures.

able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, and comply with all
Federal, State, NCUA, Secondary Market, and internal credit union
policies and procedures. The qualifications below are representative of
the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodation

functions. The position requires the ability to read and interpret
documents, along with the ability to write routine reports and
correspondence. The incumbent should possess the ability to work with
mathematical concepts such as statistics, fractions, percentages,
ratios, and proportions to credit union situations. he position requires
strong experience with Loan Origination systems, as well as ancillary
loan systems and vendors such as Corelogic, Credit Union Core operating
systems, and MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Education/Experience
Required ? Bachelor?s degree in business administration or related
field. ? Minimum 3 years? experience in residential and consumer loan
collections and loss mitigation. ? Strong knowledge and understanding of
Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Mortgage Servicing, and Secondary
Market Requirements as they pertain to default management and loss
mitigation. ? Knowledge of current industry concepts, practices,
procedures, and regulations. ? Excellent communication and
organizational skills. ? Strong computer and critical thinking skills. ?
Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently with
desire to learn and grow. ? Ability to multitask while working in a
fast-paced environment. ? Strong attention to detail.
