The WIM Mortgage Team partners with Wells Fargo Home Lending (WFHL) to provide Residential Mortgage Products for our Wealth Clients. WIM Mortgage is seeking a Business Accountability Manager to lead the governance and accountability team
In this role, you will:
Manage and develop a team of specialists and coordinators tasked with activities in support of the business' risk mitigation activities, including Issues Management, Audit, Risk and Regulatory projects, Business Continuity activities
Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement, risk mitigation, and control opportunities
Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives, and operations of team to meet business objectives; interpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with low to moderate complexity and risk within scope of responsibilities
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for team
Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
*Candidates currently residing in other hub locations within the WF footprint may be considered.
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of risk management, business controls, or compliance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
2+ years of leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
Wealth business leadership and mortgage risk and control experience in a large, complex financial organization strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability as a thought leader in mortgage strategy, underwriting, and business initiative execution for High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) segments
Strong background in credit risk and mortgage operations, and in effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams including home lending, legal, compliance, finance and risk
Strong knowledge of Mortgage Regulations
Job Expectations:
Up to 20% travel
Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities and/or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
Salary is just one component of Wells Fargo's total rewards package. Depending on the role, a Wells Fargo's employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
$111,100.00 - $217,200.00
