Who You Are
You'll perform as a Global Supply Chain Management, Subcontract Management, Senior Staff member
What You Will Be Doing
Become part of the F-35 Supply Chain Management (SCM) Organization as a subcontract management team lead in Major Subsystems. As a team lead, you will be responsible for overall management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance and interfacing with program functional organizations and supplier management. The position will be responsible of managing procurement and contract activities as well as related supplier performance. This position will require a significant amount of collaboration with team members to accomplish goals.
In this role, you will:
Lead, Support, and Perform subcontract activities
Preparing requests for proposals
Evaluating subcontractor proposals,
Developing cost/price analysis
Negotiations
Purchase order and contract creation/documentation
Managing contractual delivery schedules to align with program demands
Communicate across multi-function and multi-level platforms

Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university in a related discipline with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree
-
Experience with Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP) or equivalent purchasing/ERP system, such as Procure to Pay
-
Familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS)
-
A history of increasing responsibility and team leadership
-
Advanced experience in Microsoft Office
Desired Skills:

15+ years' experience in supply chain management, procurement or purchasing

Experience in TINA Negotiations Experience or Competition Experience

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Work independently and in a collaborative and team-based environment

Experience with multi-tasking and managing competing priorities

Experience in preparing Request for Proposal packages, evaluating supplier proposals, managing subcontracts and supplier relationships.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
