The Field Supply Chain Team in North America immediately needs a Senior Manager whose responsibilities will include leading the central procurement team for NE/MOD Non-Otis equipment.
What you'll do:
Lead team of commodity managers and tactical procurement buyers for all pre and post award NE/MOD defined categories
Provide oversight, guidance and escalation for team on RFP/RFQ exercises, both for both pre and post award NE/MOD contracts in collaboration with all NAA field local offices
Act as the focal for all NE/MOD local purchases for NA organization (point of escalation, leadership and support)
Define and implement sourcing and procurement strategy for all NE/MOD field local purchases to reach 100% spend under management for top categories; assist commodity managers with individual category strategy definition and roadmap
Responsible for delivering PSR goal savings, field PTE, and 100% cost coverage of NE/MOD Field Supply Chain team
Implement standard of commodity management within NE/MOD Field Supply Chain group (formalized supplier agreements, supplier quality program, supplier integration, structured supplier business relationships formal and cadenced)
Establish dashboard of team activity and future forecast model, market material and labor intelligence reporting
Integrate NE/MOD Field Supply Chain team into current standard Sales & Field Operations processes & systems to ensure 100% spend under management
Utilize Otis datasets to identify new areas of opportunity for savings, PTE, sales, and growth opportunities for the NE/MOD Field Supply Chain team
Identify & execute insourcing opportunities through OSC & FLO
With rollout of FRS and spend under management expansion, establish and maintain a high service level (SLA) by evaluating customer demand and expediting material to meet internal/external customer needs.
Ability to perform timely escalations on issues that arise during centralized sourcing exercises to leadership
Lead process improvement activities to improve internal processes for quality and productivity & deploy future state Supply Chain centralization goals
Enable strong cross collaboration with Field Operations, Sales, Engineering, OSC, Quality, and other departments throughout NA and globally; demonstrate excellent customer service skills
What You Will Need to be Successful:
Candidates must possess a BS or BA in business, supply chain, or engineering.
Minimum of 7-10 years related experience in a supply chain function or Elevator Field experience
Experience in ERP systems (JDE, SDC, MOD eLog, associated systems (K2)
Experience leading procurement team and/or commodity management experience
Microsoft products: Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Forms, SmartSheet, Teams
Proficient in presentations to all levels of the organization
Proficient in supplier negotiations
Ability to read Engineering drawings & customer Elevator / Escalator specification/requirement documentation is a plus
Ability to work with various cross-functional groups, including Field Operations, Sales, Engineering, and Supplier Quality to ensure business goals are met
Must be able to work in and fully support a Team environment
