We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Summary

This role will be responsible for providing project management of complex Electric Transmission projects and/or ownership of a Federal Privatization Contract. Selected candidate will support the ET PMO Feasibility Team.

Typical responsibilities may include:

Manages the Delivery Point feasibility studies

Coordinates with the SOC and PMO to resolve outage conflicts

Works with ET Planning to develop feasible network upgrade projects

Ensures project results meet requirements and provides timely and accurate information and status updates to management and internal and external customers

Responsible for complex scope, cost development, validation and/or Government cost quotes, complex permitting, work plans, and environmental studies.

Multi-process responsibility for on-base activities

Actively participates in re-determination negotiations

May have Non-Dominion Energy Workers (NDEWs) reporting to them

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

7-8+ years of demonstrated experience in project management and relevant technologies

Ability to work and develop rapport with all levels of management and staff

Ability to represent the project and the Company in public forums

Strong team-building skills

Effective negotiating skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation capabilities

Ability to manage competing priorities

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education.

Preferred Disciplines: Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology

Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description

Project Management Certification preferred.
