Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to probe, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, and speak and hear. Position Summary:
The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats injury, disease and other conditions of health. Physical Therapy includes performance and interpretation of tests and measurements to assess pathological, pathomechanical and developmental deficits of human systems. Physical therapists help people with physical injuries or illnesses regain range of movement and control their pain. Physical therapists, help individuals who have lost motor function due to accidents, illness or age. They help determine the root causes of the trauma, counsel patients, and work with them to create a plan for rehabilitation
Essential Duties & Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Administers patient evaluation and treatments employing physical therapy modalities, procedures and interventions.
Schedules patients. Maintains written and verbal communication regarding patient and departmental concerns, and submits accurate billing information
Promotes and contributes to all sanitary and housekeeping policies which are designed to maintain the cleanliness and readiness of all clinic and general staff areas
Participates with the department quality improvement activities.
