For more information, please visit www.careers.firstam.com.What We DoThe Title Coordinator works with multiple parties to coordinate the resolution and completion of the title process. Monitors and tracks the workflow from searcher and contractors. Coordinates multi-site project intake and transaction management. Reviews and validates the accuracy of data contained within mortgage loan files. Verifies file completeness, obtains outstanding title documents, and approves completed files. Performs special projects. Assists with title production support services and settlement services preparation.Essential FunctionsFacilitate customer requests via email, fax, telephone, etc and manages incoming correspondenceManage a variety of inventory reportsUpdate existing inventory in company and / or client operating system(s)Maintain and develop client/attorney-closing relationshipsMonitor process and resolve issues to keep process on track. Report issues to managerEscalate complex title issues to supervisor as neededCoordinate and confirm title clearance with title providerMay track foreclosure sale deedsJob Complexities Uses established procedures performs assigned tasksWork is typically routine; instructions are detailed for new assignmentsSupervision Received or ExtendedWorks under close supervision applying established techniques, procedures or specific standardsWork on new assignments may be reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall accuracyNo responsibility for the supervision of othersKnowledge and Skills/Technology UsedProficient MS Office skill setExcellent verbal/written communication skillsMust be able to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude at all timesStrong attention to detailProblem solving, organizational skillsExercises good judgmentWorking knowledge of company and/or client operating systemsTypical EducationHigh School diploma or equivalentTypical Range of Experience2+ years' experience in escrow/title or curative lender roleThis position will be accepting applications on an ongoing basis until the position is filledPay Range: $19.82 - $26.43This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.
