Raytheon Legal, Compliance & Contracts (LCC) is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Counsel. Reporting to the Raytheon Executive Director & Lead of AXL, this position will provide legal advice and counsel in business and supply chain areas in support of Raytheon business areas both domestically and around the globe. The successful candidate will be a thought leader capable of positively in?uencing a broad range of complex legal, regulatory, policy, supply chain and business issues. The position will work closely with contracts, supply chain personnel, human resources, ?nance/tax, supply chain advisors, ethics and compliance, global trade, and other functional areas as well as LCC colleagues within Raytheon and across all business units of RTX.
The preferred candidate will have substantial supply chain transactional experience and a significant background providing advice and counsel to businesses and a myriad of supply chain personnel, including supply chain advisors, subcontract managers and buyers and management of all levels. In addition, the candidate should have a strong understanding of government, commercial and ideally international supply chain and contracting requirements.
What You Will Do:
Influence strategic vision and leadership to enhance supply chain-oriented processes to meet business needs and comply with a complex regulatory environment.
Draft, review and negotiate complex supply chain agreements, including Proprietary Information Agreements, teaming, subcontract and a variety of strategic agreements - MOUs, LOIs, JV and similar agreements.
Work with and provide advice and counsel to Raytheon and other business unit attorneys, parent company counsel, management and supply chain advisors and personnel on issues and transactions affecting Raytheon and cross-business unit matters.
Review and assist with drafting policies, processes and procedures for Raytheon and corporate groups.
Manage outside counsel and co-manage with Raytheon litigation counsel claims and supply chain litigation matters.
Support supply chain advisors and other personnel with drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex supplier and government claims. Typical involvement includes investigating and supporting the development of claim files, drafting of demand letters and providing support to negotiate resolution of claims.
Conduct and assist ethics group and supply chain personnel with ethics and other @types of investigations related to supply chain matters. Investigations include conflicts of interest, non-compete, non-solicitation, supplier activities and government audits and reviews.
Work closely with supply chain personnel and Intellectual Property Counsel on intellectual property (IP) agreements and other licensing and hardware transactions; resolve matters involving IP rights and obligations of suppliers, Raytheon, and government and commercial customers; develop a close working relationship with IP Counsel, supply chain advisors and other supply chain personnel.
Provide due diligence support for domestic and international M&A activities and supplier qualification matters.
Implement special projects, participate on various Raytheon committees and provide support for other assigned matters.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant legal experience providing advice and counsel to all levels of personnel, ranging from supply chain buyers to senior management
Experience dealing with broad and / or complex supply chain issues and transactions in the U.S. and (ideally) abroad
Law degree (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
Member of a state bar in good standing and in-house counsel registration following hiring
Qualifications We Prefer:
Excellent agreement drafting, reviewing and negotiating skills
Experience managing resolution of business-related supply chain issues, transactions, claims and disputes
Significant government and commercial contracts experience, including a thorough understanding of FAR/DFARS regulations
International supply chain and transactional experience is a plus
Strong understanding of employment, finance, compliance and ethics areas as they affect supply chain operations
Ability to identify and proactively problem solve issues and risks related with business and operational areas
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to thrive independently and as part of a team

Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).
The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
