Description

We are looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team in Prospect, Connecticut. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth office operations while providing essential support to our staff. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills and a strong ability to multitask.

Responsibilities:

Welcome and assist visitors, ensuring a friendly and efficient experience.

Oversee office operations, including managing mail, packages, deliveries, and correspondence.

Collect weekly caregiver timesheets and prepare them for the payroll manager.

Maintain and update spreadsheets to track open timesheets from previous weeks.

Generate monthly benefits reports, review eligibility, update systems, and coordinate with the benefits agent.

Organize and support company events and projects to ensure successful execution.

Keep the office and breakroom clean and organized, monitoring inventory and supply closets.

Provide administrative assistance to team members and handle ad-hoc office tasks as needed.

Perform additional duties to support the overall efficiency of office operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in administrative roles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.

Skilled in answering inbound and outbound calls with professionalism.

Strong ability to manage employee timesheets and attendance records.

Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records.

Excellent communication skills and ability to handle email correspondence effectively.

Demonstrated ability to coordinate events and manage department projects.

Familiarity with basic office operations, including mail distribution and maintaining office supplies.
