Description
Our client, a dynamic healthcare company is looking for an analytical Intermediate Accountant to join our team in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial records while contributing to month-end close processes and other accounting activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting expert to expand their expertise and collaborate with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed analyses of financial statements to gain a deep understanding of facility financial operations.
Prepare and post manual and recurring journal entries as part of the month-end close process.
Maintain and update the general ledger and chart of accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Reconcile accounts, analyze discrepancies, and resolve outstanding issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate monthly financial results and address related inquiries.
Perform various practice-specific accounting tasks within established deadlines and guidelines.
Ensure compliance with internal controls over financial reporting and audit requirements.
Take part in special accounting and finance projects as needed, providing insights and solutions.
Build and nurture strong working relationships with team members and assigned practices.
Contribute to team initiatives by demonstrating leadership qualities, including self-review and motivational skills.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience is essential.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to create complex formulas.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact at all organizational levels.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with customers, vendors, and team members with attention to detail.
Experience with accounting systems such as PeopleSoft, BlackLine, and Hyperion SmartView is preferred.
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment while maintaining dependability and teamwork.
