Our client, a dedicated healthcare provider, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be part of the nursing staff supporting the well-being of residents. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a compassionate nature, and a commitment to patient care, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Montrose, NY

Pay Range: $32 per hour

Shifts: Monday-Friday (Alternating Weekends)

1st Shift- 7:00am-3:30pm

2nd Shift- 3:00pm-11:30pm

3rd Shift- 11:00pm-7:30am

What's the Job?

Provide nursing care activities to residents under the direction of the Nurse Administrator.

Observe residents and report changes in their conditions to physicians or registered nurses.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including injections and wound care.

Assist residents with daily living activities to ensure their comfort and well-being.

Maintain accurate records of residents' conditions and treatments administered.

What's Needed?

Current license and registration to practice as a licensed practical nurse in New York State.

Ability to work Monday through Friday, with every other weekend required.

Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication skills to interact with residents and healthcare team members.

Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.
