Core Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Program and Fiscal Coordination, this position works in a team environment to provide customer support to the Director, Program Financial Officers, and other support staff of the Division. This position coordinates analysis of OIT invoices, prepares and reviews attorney general and fire marshal invoices, generates personnel budget and payroll reports, conducts project coordination, generates salary projections for numerous grant applications, manages and prepares the annual rent schedule, conducts research, maintains headcount data, enters and reviews data hosted within Microsoft Dynamic CRM data warehouses, when requested by the Director attends affiliated team meetings or PFO staff meetings, assists with coordinating training and an onboarding program, reviews contract data for erroneous or missing data, reviews account balances, reviews financial reports to identify negative balances, creates data queries from State systems for analytical purposes, conducts invoice trouble-shooting, codes and processes invoices, generates delivery orders generates numerous excel documents to assist Divisional staff with research and or financial reporting.
Minimum Qualifications:
In order to qualify, you must have six (6) years of education, training, and/or experience analyzing, evaluating, and/or developing improvements to organizational and/or managerial systems, programs, and practices.
The background of well-qualified candidates will demonstrate the following competencies:
A demonstrated ability to manipulate large data using Excel, accessing state financial data from various state financial systems, such as the Budget and Financial Management System, the Oracle Analytics Cloud Service, Advantage, SQL, and several Customer Relationship Management systems for the departments contracts, grants, and financial orders. In addition, a demonstrated ability to learn and or utilize multiple excel functions to assist with data manipulation and analysis.
Must possess technological skills and knowledge to learn, navigate, and extrapolate state financial data from data systems of various vintages including contemporary and or legacy systems.
Be able to interpret data sets that may contain errors and or to make analytical conclusions and ultimately recommendations to Divisional staff based upon own analysis.
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing and to give and receive constructive feedback.
