Lumberyard Truck Driver
$17/hr.
Full-time, hours vary based on delivery demand
A local lumber company in the Sioux Center, IA area is searching for a hard-working, detail-oriented, and professional driver to join their team. The Lumber Truck Driver is responsible for the delivery of lumber and lumberyard products in a timely manner while striving to meet the demands of the customer.
Responsibilities:
Attend all scheduled safety meetings, follow all safety and standard operating procedures.
Weigh each order or load as applicable, check production variances.
Complete and turn in truck delivery record daily.
Clean truck interior and exterior as needed and when time permits.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
CDL license as applicable to truck.
Ability to bend, twist, crawl, crouch, stoop or kneel.
Ability to lift up to 75lbs. frequently.
Ability to communicate effectively with others.
