SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Performs a variety of administrative and staff support duties for a specified department requiring a range of skills and knowledge of organizational policies and procedures. Resolves administrative problems and inquiries; composes, edits, and proofreads correspondence and reports and prepares a range of administrative documents.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Three (3) years administrative experience, within the last five years.

Formal training on a personal computer to utilize various business software programs including word processing, data base management and spreadsheets.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

Experience on an advanced level (i.e., Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.) preferred

Working in the healthcare field preferred
