Job Title: Electrical DesignerJob Description

This position involves working with a prominent architectural and engineering firm, focusing on developing comprehensive electrical design packets for commercial projects. These projects span various sectors, including Commercial, Education, Government, Healthcare, Mixed-use, and Retail. You will be responsible for taking the initial intake of proto@type packets from owners and using Revit to design power systems. Collaboration with drafting support and assisting in quality control for final reviews will also be part of your role.

Responsibilities

Develop complete electrical design packets for commercial projects.

Utilize Revit for designing power systems.

Collaborate with drafting support for project development.

Assist in quality control and final review of designs.

Essential Skills

8-10 years of experience in building electrical systems, with acceptable experience in sectors such as Commercial, Education, Government, Healthcare, Mixed-use, and Retail.

8-10 years of Revit design experience.

Proficiency in Electrical Systems layout, Electrical design, and Revit.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience with building electrical systems, preferably in retail.

Experience with voltage calculations, photometrics, and fault analyses.

Familiarity with MS Suite, Bluebeam, national electric codes, and energy codes.

Knowledge of lighting control systems.

Background in MEP consulting or electrical contracting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $55.28/hr.
