Job Summary
Supports the construction activities associated with natural gas system replacement projects. Coordinate with New Business team/customers, contractors, communications, vendors, construction services leadership, welders, engineering, field operations and Integration Center to ensure customer focused, safe and cost-effective construction. Activities typically include reporting to construction projects; responding to customer complaints, coordinating meter move outs, posting customer notices, coordinating material and monitoring usage, supporting job order creation and execution as needed, preparing project tracking documents, mapping construction progress, documenting field meetings, overseeing record keeping of quality control reports and safety inspection records.
Essential Functions
Coordinate efficient, safe and quality construction new business, meter move-outs, house piping and service line replacement.
Observes contractor adherence to construction plan related to customer notification, permit changes,
Notifies governmental agencies, other utilities, and customers of construction schedule.
Works across geographic boundaries whenever necessary.
Inspects restoration work to assure customer satisfaction.
Monitors customer complaint mailbox to assure timely handling of customer inquiries.
Effectively uses technology, tools and planning techniques to track and communicate project status.
Negotiates positive outcome to customer complaints and service location desires.
Creates and maintains valued relationships with government entities, industry associates, company affiliates, and contractors.
Promotes and assures a safe working environment and public safety.
Required Qualifications For Position
Prior experience in accurately interpreting construction drawings and operations maps.
Working knowledge of service operations policies and procedures, and applicable federal, state and local codes/regulations.
Working knowledge of operations policies and procedures, and applicable federal, state and local codes/regulations.
Working knowledge of and experience using a computer.
Self-motivation and demonstrated ability to work with little direct supervision and make sound, independent decisions.
Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and organize, including attention to detail to generate accurate and timely daily-progress records.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly both writing and speech.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across business unit boundaries (e.g.; field operations, technical operations, Integration Center), as well as build rapport with contractors and customers.
Must be physically able to negotiate variety of terrain and building structures.
Must be able to work in all @types of weather conditions
Preferred Additional Qualifications for Position
High School Diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in natural gas construction operations.
Prior experience working on construction sites maintaining field records.
WMS experience in design capital job orders and job inquiries.
DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State and the ability to operate a company vehicle. Upon Hire

Salary Range*:
$52,400.00 - $73,300.00
*The salary offered to a candidate is based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience , as well as internal pay equity .
