Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to join the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure AI Science team who is passionate about data, can navigate a fast-changing space with many unknowns, and can work with multiple partners. As a part of the data group within OCI's AI Science team, the data TPM will own the execution of Oracle data initiatives, helping to accelerate AI development.

The data TPM's responsibilities include interfacing directly with the science teams to elicit requirements, convey them to vendors, handle approvals, and work with legal and contract matters specific to data. As the data TPM, you will work with diverse partners and navigate Oracle processes to facilitate commercial agreements with data vendors while collaborating with senior executives, applied scientists, architects, product managers, development, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Direct complex data projects, including guiding commercial agreements, conducting stakeholder meetings, and managing quality control mechanisms.

Drive effective communication and collaboration across Science, Data, Engineering, Product Management, Legal, and other stakeholders to secure approvals, minimize workflow disruptions, and accelerate project timelines.

Provide data project oversight and act as a connective tissue between the scientific teams, internal data team, and external vendors to continuously integrate stakeholder feedback on data quality and utility into the project cycle.

Work with multi-functional teams to execute process improvements, recommending paths to streamline workflows and ensuring projects meet quality and timeline expectations.

Provide ongoing written and verbal status updates to senior leadership.

Work globally in a geographically dispersed team.

Qualifications:

BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience relevant to the functional area.

Demonstrated track record of at least 10 years in a technical program management role or related experience.

Deep domain knowledge of data management, operations, and/or tooling.

Self-starter, motivated and ambitious. Looking to grow in a fast-moving organization. Ability to wear many different hats and work on multiple deliverables in parallel.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $104,100 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
