Job Description
The Sr Electrical Manager leads the implementation of the electrical design for our major project in Virginia (LVA) on behalf of GWP Engineering Design & Sustainability in collaboration with colleagues locally and at other factories globally. Supporting wider MEPF implementation across all streams in LVA.
What your day will look like:
Lead and support local and global project teams with design and optimization of new projects and retrofits.
Review shop drawings, RFI's and submittals and/or Contract Documents and verify work in the field is installed per approved shop drawings or Contract Documents.
Verify material delivered onsite matches approved product data and specifications. Review means and methods and identify potential issues or non-conformances.
Document and supervise work in place and work remaining to be completed including non-conformity reports, defects, snags, and punch list items.
Back-check field observations that have been built by the LEGO Group, General Contractor, and consultant field observations. Verify if work is being completed in a timely manner and is accurate per contract documents and specifications.
Supervise inspections being completed by the 3rd party inspectors and assist in resolution and back-check of work complete. Identify and document work that violates local codes and ensure fixes in suitable time. Support all sites with knowledge and project support in relation to own expertise.
Participation in projects and collaboration with suppliers and authorities.
Work with the LEGO Groups equipment suppliers in the final integration of systems, such as material handling, automated racking and warehouse solutions etc.
Lead discovery of new technologies and solutions to be implemented in LEGO standards and projects.
Lead knowledge and standard process sharing within electrical installations across Engineering Design & Sustainability.
Auditing processes, standards and policies to ensure that they are followed.
Sparring with colleagues within electrical area in technology meetings.
Are you up for the challenge?
Experience in Electrical setup (HV, MV, LV and control systems) installations for international clients.
Experience of project management and working in complex large scale industrial projects.
Familiarity with international standards and practices in engineering design and installations.
Experience in energy management systems and electrical related automation control strategy.
Experience of local standards and regulations within own area of expertise.
Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $125,000 - $180,000 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
