York Seaway is a family owed business which has been in business since 1975. Our facility is located in Lake City Pennsylvania. Our sister company, Lake Erie Portable Screeners, Home of the PitBull, is looking for self starting individuals who have the background in mechanical assembly. Knowledge of hydraulics and electrical components, and familiarization of Deisel engines is a big plus.The candidate should have good communication skills, be ready to learn new things, and follow directions well.

Key Responsibilities:

Following blueprints and instructions:

Meticulously follow blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to ensure proper assembly.

Using tools and equipment:

You must be able to utilize a variety of hand and power tools, as well as machinery, to assemble components.

Fastening and aligning parts:

You will be responsible for fastening, aligning, and connecting various parts to create a functional machine.

Testing and quality control:

You will be instructed as to how to conduct tests to ensure the machine functions correctly and meets quality standards.

Collaborating with others:

You will work with engineers and quality control personnel to address issues and ensure the final product is up to par.

Required Skills:

Mechanical aptitude: A strong understanding of mechanical principles is essential for this role.

Attention to detail: Accuracy and precision are crucial for successful assembly.

Ability to read and interpret schematics: Assemblers must be proficient in reading and understanding technical documents like blueprints and schematics.

Problem-solving skills: You will need to identify and resolve issues that arise during the assembly process.

Teamwork: You will often work with other professionals in a team environment.

Shift: First

Hours: 6:00AM to 4:00PM Monday through Thursday

$1,250.00 deductible. Dependents can be added with weekly payroll deductions.
