Job Title: General Laborer
Job Description
Join our team as a General Laborer, performing basic duties for our Operations and Maintenance team at the Oakridge center. You will use hand tools to carry out essential tasks on a solar site, starting with picking up rocks and debris before transitioning into traditional Operations and Maintenance work.
Responsibilities
Utilize basic hand tools to perform general labor tasks on a solar site.
Pick up rocks and debris during the initial weeks.
Transition into traditional Operations and Maintenance tasks after initial cleaning duties.
Demonstrate punctuality and follow directions accurately.
Essential Skills
Labor experience in solar or construction environments.
Proficiency in using basic hand tools.
Ability to follow directions and work outdoors in various elements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
General construction background.
Experience working outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
Any experience with hogs or tractors is a plus.

Work Environment
The role involves working on a 175 MW solar project, performing Operations and Maintenance tasks on site. Work hours are generally from 6am to 4pm, Monday through Thursday, with flexibility to shift to Monday - Friday, typically totaling 40-45 hours a week. The work environment is outdoors in varying conditions.

This is a Contract position based out of Oak Ridge, Louisiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
