What you will do as a Medical Assistant:
As a clinical professional, you assist Physicians & Advanced Practice Providers in Clinics and Physican Offices. Medical Assistants prepare patients for visits by collecting medical histories, recording vital signs, prepping for exams, assisting with medical procedures, blood draws, vaccinations, and injections. Medical Assistants will also assist with patient scheduling, referrals, insurance, pre-authorizations and billing.

What's Required:
CREDENTIALED MEDICAL ASSISTANT
High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred
Credentialed as a Medical Assistant from an approved Munson Healthcare Credentialing Organization.
BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.
NON-CREDENTIALED MEDICAL ASSISTANT
High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred
One year ( 1 ) relevant experience working in a physician practice or similar healthcare setting in a provider/patient support or Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program approved by Munson healthcare.
BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.
