Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a Customer Service Agent to provide customer assistance to NC Medicaid recipients supported by a multi-customer contact or help desk environment. In this role you will respond to recipient calls, providing a single point of contact for inquiries and obtaining guidance about services provided by the service center.

HOW A CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Answers incoming phone calls on behalf of client; provides accurate and appropriate information to callers.

Places outbound customer service or customer satisfaction calls, as required by client.

Completes call guides; gathers and verifies required information.

Attends telephone skills and program information training sessions; adheres established levels of service.

Adheres to established customer service and documentation standards within required time frames.

Adheres to contact center scheduling, ensures telephone coverage during contact center hours of operation.

Performs clerical or administrative duties as assigned.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

High school diploma or G.E.D.

1+ or more years of customer service or other telephone experience

Experience working with fax machines, computer software, and telephone technology

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $15.09 - $20.41. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
