Job Title: Senior Accountant (Contract)

Location: Bristol, PA (100% Onsite)

Duration: 4-8 Months (Temporary Contract)

Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Flexible to start by 7:30 AM)

Overview:

Our client, a manufacturing company located near Bristol, PA, is seeking a Senior Accountant for a contract assignment lasting 4-8 months. This role is critical to optimizing and fine-tuning the company's Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Inventory workflows in their recently implemented Epicor ERP system. The company is preparing for the transition of accounting operations to a Florida branch due to the planned closure of a northern location.

Responsibilities:

Assess and improve AP and AR processes within the Epicor ERP system

Ensure clean, streamlined data workflows and transitions

Collaborate closely with a Staff Accountant and Inventory Clerk

Assist with reconciling general ledger accounts and preparing financial statements during month-end

Support Inventory-related tasks as needed (e.g., data review, reporting)

Recommend process improvements and proactively identify workflow gaps

Use Excel to import/export data, format spreadsheets, and troubleshoot ERP-related issues

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong understanding of AP/AR processes (in a manufacturing environment would be preferred)

Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred)

Excellent Excel and computer skills

Experience with Inventory accounting and reconciliation (preferred)

Cycle counting and cost accounting experience (a plus, but not required)

Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement

Other Details:

You'll be supported by in-house accounting and inventory team members

Must be comfortable working 100% onsite in a manufacturing setting (although manufacturing exp isn't necessarily required)

Ideal for someone who enjoys process optimization and ERP work
