Seeking a Wire EDM Programmer for our client, a leading manufacturer specializing in precision components for the medical device industry.
Type: Direct Hire
Location: Union County, NJ
Pay: Up to $36/hr
First Shift
Duties:
Set up and possibly operate Wire EDM, ECG, and ECM machines
Collaborate with engineers to improve manufacturing processes and design fixtures
Follow all GMP/cGMP protocols and internal SOPs
Perform first piece and in-process inspections; make adjustments as needed
Lead operators when required, especially in safety setup and instruction
Support production supervisors in resolving quality/tooling issues
Qualifications:
High school diploma required
2+ years of experience programming and setting up Wire EDM machines, including fixture design and collaboration with operations and quality teams.
Background in regulated industries and CNC equipment preferred.
