Dos Arroyos , a family-owned ranch inMountain Home, is hiring aGuest Services Coordinator. This dynamic role requires a mature and polished individual who is experienced in the core functions of hospitality.
This hands-on position is the wheel that keeps the ranch moving smoothly & efficiently. The person in this role is the primary caretaker for interior and exterior ranch homes and facilities, and at times will manage a team of up to 5 or 6 as demand requires. It is essential that this individual is passionate about creating outstanding guest experiences and is willing to work hard and extended hours (evenings and weekends) when the family and guests are on property.
This position requires a self-starter who possesses the ability to "jump in" on a wide variety of tasks, largely focused on upkeep of multiple homes and ranch facilities, with the goal of making the ranch a "home away from home" for the family as well as an event destination for their guests. From planting flowers, scheduling vendors, serving meals, grocery shopping, making beds and more, an active individual with a can-do attitude is whom we are seeking.
The selected candidate must live in Mountain Home, Texas or vicinity with reliable transportation. This is a full-time position: 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Dependent on the family's travel schedules and/or when on property, the Guest Services Coordinator will be expected to work extended hours and weekends.
Responsibilities
Guest Liaison
Ensure pre-arrival tasks are followed and completed, then oversee guest satisfaction during ranch stays
Communicate with the owners and their liaisons to prepare and manage events
Ensure all guest requests for specific activities are met
Household Management
Directly perform a significant amount of housekeeping, including daily "freshening" or "turning over" of guest suites and bedrooms, while continuously maintaining spotless common areas
Ensure any additional requests for cleaning or services are promptly addressed
Manage monthly, quarterly and annual service contracts with vendors for the interior and exterior ranch facilities
Direct and delegate work to other ranch staff as needed
Supervise Kitchen Staff
Supervise and assist kitchen staff with serving meals in a timely and organized fashion
Collaborate with kitchen and guests to meet any culinary needs or special requests
Administrative
Monitor the weekly guest schedule and adjust staff assignments according to demand, guest requests/needs, and scheduled special events
Plan airport transportation as needed
Develop weekly staff schedule, based on demand fluctuations
Work with ranch crew and vendors to facilitate all maintenance and repairs
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Hospitality experience (4+ years)
Supervisory experience (1+ years)
Similar Guest Relations, Property Management, Special Events Planning experience strongly preferred
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Tech savvy - able to troubleshoot internet, computers, phone, TV provider issues.
Bilingual or ability to speak and/or write in Spanish a plus
Valid US driver's license with a clean driving record
