ABOUT THIS ROLE
Our team is looking for a Senior Product Manager with expertise in Marketing Technology (MarTech) who's passionate about marketing and how to leverage innovative technology to achieve business objectives. The mission of the MarTech team is to build, buy, or onboard the tools and capabilities that enable Audible marketing and creative teams to efficiently and effectively orchestrate and activate a dialogue with prospects and customers. This role will represent the voice of the customer, partnering with Engineering, Data Science, Brand, Creative, and Marketing to define a customer-obsessed product roadmap, empowering the organization to harness the power of data, AI, and other innovations to get the right message in front of the right customer at the right time. For this role, the customer includes both consumers and internal teams. We enable internal teams to activate personalized, dynamic experiences for Audible users by building and implementing innovative technology to identify marketing opportunities, generating text and image assets, configuring customer targeting, and build campaigns.

You are passionate about building products that allow marketers to use data to better reach prospects and customers through paid, organic, and lifecycle marketing. You are a highly-collaborative partner with other functions who drives teams to deliver the best products to our prospects and customers. You are an effective verbal and written communicator with a knack for making complex topics simple, while evangelizing and inspiring people at all levels of the organization based on a shared vision. As a Senior Product Manager, you will....
Build the strategy and roadmap for a pillar of marketing technology, while directing day-to-day execution towards that vision
Build with an AI-first mindset, championing the latest innovations in genAI technology and implementing them, to improve efficiency and effectiveness of customer experience management
Work with data science teams to evaluate AI/ML model choices and determine tradeoffs between performance and efficiency
Work directly with engineering, analytics, and marketing teams to build product solutions and integrate with 1P and 3P tools
Drive understanding across Audible of the impact and potential of AI-powered MarTech initiatives, championing data-driven insights to bolster customer engagement
Measure and analyze the performance of AI/ML-powered MarTech features against business objectives, continuously optimizing and refining models
Evangelize use of marketing technology within Audible, providing clear documentation and training to our internal users on the products we build and support
Continually monitor marketing technology tools and trends to ensure Audible is delivering high quality messages to our customers

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of relevant work experience leading the delivery of marketing, advertising, or data products
Experience in end-to-end product delivery, including defining and owning roadmaps, contributing to engineering discussions, managing product tradeoffs, and taking new products and features from zero to one
Experience in marketing technology products and systems
Experience communicating clearly and effectively across multiple audiences, bridging gaps between technical and non-technical personnel through articulate oral and written communication
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AI technology products and systems, including large language models (LLMs) and their applications in marketing
Experience implementing AI marketing solutions
Ability to evaluate the benefits and limitations of various AI/ML models, and communicate those tradeoffs with technical and non-technical colleagues
Experience with rapid prototyping of AI-driven features and proofs of concept
Experience representing and advocating for customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Expertise in managing multidisciplinary and cross-functional initiatives
Ability to work independently, autonomously, and cross-functionally
Ability to easily transition from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution
