Job Title: Procurement Assistant

Job Summary: The Procurement Assistant supports the procurement team in sourcing goods and services, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing in accordance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in purchasing goods and services based on company needs.

Create and process purchase orders in the system.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery.

Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details, resolve issues, and follow up on deliveries.

Monitor stock levels and notify the team when replenishment is needed.

Help evaluate supplier performance and maintain approved vendor lists.

Ensure all purchasing activities comply with internal procedures and budget constraints.

Prepare procurement reports as required.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus.

Previous administrative or procurement experience preferred.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing software. (for example: SAP, Oracle.)

Background Requirements:

Candidates must pass a drug screen and a background check.Convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis; convictions will not necessarily bar a candidate's employment. After an offer or conditional offer of employment is made, the employer may require the prospective employee to take a physical examination.
