Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk/Receptionist to join our team in Dalhart, Texas. In this role, you will manage essential accounting tasks while providing front-office support in a family-oriented environment. This position offers an opportunity to work with a close-knit team in a growing organization.
Responsibilities:
Accurately operate truck scales and ensure all data is properly recorded and verified.
Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including reconciliation and processing invoices.
Handle billing procedures and ensure timely and accurate data entry.
Utilize Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and maintaining financial records.
Provide reception and administrative support, including answering calls and assisting visitors.
Prepare and maintain office documentation and records in compliance with company standards.
Collaborate with team members to support daily office operations and uphold a positive work environment.
Assist with maintaining accurate inventory and supply records as needed.
Support the implementation of new office processes and workflows to improve efficiency. Requirements - Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
At least 1 year of experience in basic accounting or a related field.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
Ability to work in a collaborative, family-oriented office environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAP is a plus.
Experience in the agricultural industry is preferred but not mandatory.
High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
