Job Title: Medical Office AssistantJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Office Assistant to join a dynamic cardiology practice, providing essential support across multiple locations. This role involves working in a busy, team-oriented environment, focusing on patient care and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

Check patients in and out efficiently.

Schedule patient appointments and manage prior authorizations.

Maintain accurate electronic health records and perform data entry.

Deliver exceptional customer service in a cardiology practice.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in medical terminology and electronic health records.

At least one year of experience in a specialty office setting.

Reliable transportation.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in a cardiology practice is preferred.

Familiarity with Epic and family medicine is advantageous.

No medical license required.

Work Environment

The role is based in a very busy cardiology office with multiple providers, operating Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. Candidates must be willing to float to satellite offices in Shelton, Milford, Trumbull, Fairfield, and potentially Westport within the same week. This position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive team setting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
