We are looking for a Water Truck Driver to join our team! You will be responsible to operate and maintain water truck to control dust on projects and pits. Will need to display a professional and courteous attitude with customers and team members. This is a seasonal position, you can use your winters off to travel, hunt, fish or for other activities you enjoy while your benefits continue year round. Salary range: $25.00 - $28.00 Hours per week: 40+ Duties and Responsibilities: Perform daily equipment, walk around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained. Safely and properly perform maintenance on water truck. Safely and properly operate water truck. Safely apply water to meet job specifications and needs. Properly record gallons of water used to fill truck and source obtained. Ensure proper permits are obtained for applicable loading sites. Help and clean designated areas as needed. Assist laborers or roller operators with dumping trucks, shoveling, flagging as needed. Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations. Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteous/respectful of others. Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.). Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisors. Ensure OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance. Assist in loading and unloading equipment for transport, including load securement. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Ability to hold and maintain a proper licensure - CDL required. Class A preferred, but class B is eligible as well. Tanker endorsements. Able to assist Gravel/Base crew with tasks when not watering. Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and some Saturdays.
