Product Manager\ \ Position Overview\ Our client, a leader in the Lighting Design industry, is seeking a Product Merchandise Manager to join their team. This will be up to 40 hours per week, onsite 2-4x a week in Rolling Meadows, IL. As the Product Merchandise Manager, you will oversee day-to-day tasks, including sample inventory and planning.\ \ Key Responsibilities

Manage samples and inventory for a highly SKU-intensive business and

in-house manufacturing

Maintain inventory levels based on open-to-buy, inventory turn,

sales plans, and key budget/financial metrics

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and

accurate product launches

Help monitor and analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and

market trends

Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers

Create and manage buy plans and receipt plans to ensure optimal

inventory levels

Develop and implement store allocation strategies to maximize sales

and minimize excess inventory

Conduct regular inventory audits and make recommendations for

improvements

Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions

Qualifications

Experience with merchandising, preferably in a highly SKU-intensive

business

Interest in in-house manufacturing

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and retail merchandising software

Knowledge of lighting design and related products is a plus

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
