As a Security Shift Supervisor - Healthcare Environment in Baltimore, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more.

The Shift Security Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. The Security Shift Supervisor will act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and professional security officers. Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range.

Position Type: Full Time & Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.30 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines

Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting;

Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions

Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently

Greet and assist patients, staff, and visitors at the front desk, providing a welcoming presence.

Carry out security procedures and follow site-specific policies relevant to an healthcare environment.

Monitor access to the building, verifying identification and managing visitor logs as required.

Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Communicate with healthcare facility personnel and emergency responders when appropriate.

Maintain awareness of activities in the lobby and entry areas to help to deter unauthorized access.

Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and offering directions or information about the location.

Minimum Requirements:

Maryland Security Professional Guard Card required upon hire.

Minimum of 2 years of security experience required.

Supervisory experience preferred.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Possession of a Guard Card/License is preferred upon interview/offer.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
