We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team in the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering sector. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. You will be responsible for monitoring financial transactions, managing accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and preparing financial statements. Your expertise in bookkeeping will help us to ensure compliance with financial regulations and assist in budget preparation. You will also work closely with our finance/operations team and engineers to provide financial insights that will contribute to informed business decisions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and relevant software applications. Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manage payroll and AP data entry processes currently performed by the Receptionist/HR Administrator.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Records numerical and financial data to produce financial records. Prepare forms and documentation including balance sheets and profit and loss statements. Ensure financial data is entered correctly and accurately. Enter journal entries to debit and credit the company's accounts. Prepare journal entries for the month-end close. Create budgets and financial plans as required by management. Commercial Card administration and monthly reconciliation. Generates accounting and audit reports for cash receipts, accounts payable and receivable, expenditures, and profits and losses. Reconciles general ledger accounts and reports differences or issues found in financial records. Responsible for the preparation of payroll transactions and reporting. Will be the administrator for JB2 ERP/MRP cloud-based accounting and resource planning system. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial data analysis. Ability to use accounting software to record, store, and analyze financial data. Ability to efficiently operate a 10-key calculator or equivalent and other related office equipment. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite with Intermediate experience with Excel and Word. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated, organized, and timely with tasks.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree with accounting coursework required. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred. At least three years of bookkeeping experience required, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
