Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Part Time Legal Administrative Assistant for our Columbus, Ohio location.

Responsibilities
You will be accountable for performing administrative duties related to the routine operation of the Legal department according to company standards. Responsible for upholding company vision, mission, values, and behaviors while providing administrative support to Legal team associates.
Provides comprehensive administrative support to the Legal department staff including, but not limited to, copying, filing, faxing, scanning, mailing/shipping, expense reporting, and bill payment
Provides document processing support including formatting, revising, and proof-reading memoranda and correspondence
Assists with compliance data collection, including requesting and uploading documents
Creates and maintains electronic and paper files, including form files, administrative files, and litigation files, appropriately organized and indexed
Assists with litigation tasks including preparing production documents, calendaring dates and deadlines, and preparing exhibits and supporting materials for motions, briefs, depositions, hearings, and trials
Assists with planning and booking travel as needed
Assists with other duties as assigned
Qualifications
2+ years' experience in an administrative role
The ability to work fully in the office in Columbus, OH- this is not a remote or hybrid role
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
The ability to exercise discretion while performing job tasks
The ability to read and write small letters and numbers; the ability to make arithmetic calculations; and the ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
The successful completion of ninety (90) day orientation period
Additional Information
This is an on-site part time, Monday-Friday 15-20 hours per week role. We are flexible with the hours but must be within an 8:00am-6:00pm time frame. We do need someone in the office on Mondays and Fridays.
