The Manufacturing Welder located in Ville Platte, La is responsible for weld preparation, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture products according to drawings, specifications and other forms of instruction. Weld components in flat, vertical, horizontal or overhead positions.
Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend and grind component parts.
Detect faulty operation of equipment and materials.
Examine work for defects.
Operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade.
Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.
Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
Maintain the required safety training.

At SLB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at/near the top of the range. The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $22-$34 per hour.

Qualifications and Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
Preference of one-year certificate from technical school/college.
Requires 2 years' experience in a related field.
