In this role, you will handle a variety of accounting tasks, including processing vendor invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with lien and levy procedures. Responsibilities:

Process vendor invoices for assigned construction projects, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.

Update job cost budgets and manage change orders effectively.

Monitor and organize Preliminary Notices while maintaining compliance with contractor lien and levy procedures.

Analyze vendor statements and address past-due invoices promptly.

Reconcile accounts payable details with the general ledger on a monthly basis.

Assist with weekly check runs, including invoice input, reconciliation, printing, and scanning tasks.

Manage the mailing of signed checks and organize paid invoices for accurate record-keeping.

Prepare daily cash receipts, bank transfers, and other data entries as needed.

Serve as a backup for utility invoice coding, payments, and daily bank runs.

Support bank reconciliation efforts and other miscellaneous accounting duties.

Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, including accounts payable and data entry.

Strong understanding of accounts payable, general ledger, and journal entry processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with Adobe tools for scanning and organizing documents.

Solid organizational and time management abilities.

Background in accounting education is a plus.

Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to contribute to group success.
