Job Title: Quality Assurance Associate

Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Associate, you will work under general supervision to review and investigate medical device complaints, maintaining quality documents to ensure compliance with various regulatory agencies. You will coordinate the resolution of complaints and ensure timely investigations are performed. Your role involves problem-solving recurring, routine situations and referring more complicated situations to high-level personnel.

Responsibilities

Review and investigate medical device complaints.

Maintain quality documents to ensure regulatory compliance.

Coordinate resolution of complaints and ensure timely investigations.

Assess product experiences and complaints from customers, representatives, and the tech support team.

Escalate reportable complaints to the appropriate department.

Manage inbox shared by the group, coordinating daily assignments and researching devices.

Perform repetitive processes and data entry tasks.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in biology and medical terminology.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Knowledge of global regulations for medical devices.

Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and email.

Experience with EPIC complaint handling software.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

4-year degree in a scientific field preferred (biology, biomedical, clinical).

English or Communications degrees are also acceptable.

Certification training and experience in data mining and shadowing.

Previous experience in a corporate environment.

Work Environment

This is a desk role, with flexibility for remote work one day a week after training. The position is primarily onsite, with a team of seven supporting the heart failure business unit. The team is split between Minnetonka and St. Paul. The work environment encourages collaboration, decision-making, and adaptability to changing priorities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
