Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager. This role is based at our Indianapolis, IN distribution center. Relocation assistance is available for those within the US/PR.
The Distribution Operations Manager is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership of a high-volume order fulfillment distribution center, as well providing functional excellence support for the divisional facilities. This role will drive the operation, development, and implementation of key processes to ensure compliance within company policies and procedures.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $93750.03 - $137500.04 a year.

What you'll do:
Establishes and maintains an efficient and safe operation. Deploys MESH to support a Zero Incident Culture. Assures that Safety Regulations and OSHA Requirements are adhered to regarding manufacturing practices and equipment. Supports plant safety policies and rules and administers them. Acts as an innovator while leveraging continuous improvement to drive to zero injuries.
Oversees a team of supervisors and associates to ensure timely merchandise distribution, adhering to budget, policies, procedures, and quality standards to meet customer expectation.
Makes daily decisions on staffing, business adjustments, and contingency plans, demonstrating logical, organized, and multi-tasking abilities.
Assesses group performance to support performance management, merit promotions, and job transfers.
Leads associates by fostering a shared vision and understanding of the organization's strategy, enhancing commitment through recognition of individual and group achievements.
Develops and implements systems and procedures for profitable operations, directing warehouse activities and administrative support to achieve productivity and service goals.
Guides the warehouse management team to meet objectives, utilizing effective communication and motivational techniques, and establishing programs for supervision, counseling, and discipline.
Ensures the development of warehouse information systems to meet company goals and support efficient operations, staying informed about hardware and software advancements.
Possesses the ability to manage organizational change, influencing both hourly and salaried associates to adopt a continuous improvement mindset.
Builds and maintains rapport with associates at all organizational levels to drive results, effectively interfacing with multiple departments/functions such as Supply Chain, Quality, Customer Facing teams, and Senior leaders.
Trains a diverse group of employees, tailoring training programs and presentation styles to the audience.
Operates effectively under tight deadlines with multiple priorities that frequently change.
Qualifications:
Required Basic Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
Minimum five (5) years experience in logistics, distribution, warehouse management and/or manufacturing management
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future
Relocation assistance is available for this position to those within US/PR. Local candidates residing within 50 miles of Indianapolis, IN will also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Business and/or Supply Chain
Seven (7) years experience or higher in warehouse or operations environment
Knowledge of Oracle WMS, ERP (or similar ERP software)
Skills
Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance
Effective communication and leadership skills
In depth knowledge of material handling equipment options for distribution and optimization of the life/use of equipment
Strong analytical and problem solving skills -ability to take initiatives and stand by decisions
Extensive knowledge of MS Office Applications- Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint etc.
Forklift certification
