EWASTE+ focuses on the recovery of value from idle, obsolete and excess electronic equipment and operates a large-scale processing facility in Victor, New York (near Rochester) and two regional consolidation facilities in Albany and New York City. The company utilizes environmentally sound processing methods that maximize value and recovery while eliminating disposal of electronics in landfills. EWASTE+ is seeking a CDL or Non CDL Driver in the Scotia, NY!

Home Every Night - 4 hour driving radius

Job responsibilities include:

Uses GPS system to follow routed manifests to pick up client's electronic waste in a timely manner and in accordance with local, state and Department of Transportation guidelines

Assembles and wraps palettes with shrink wrap and labels with batch numbers accordingly

Provides good customer service and maintains a professional manner and appearance to enhance the company's image

Performs Department of Transportation pre-trip inspections according to checklist, and keeps accurate copies in the vehicle at all times

Maintains company fuel credit cards and valid proof of insurance and registration in the vehicle

Maintains a daily, legible Department of Transportation logbook and submits as required

Ensures proper maintenance of vehicles and reports all accidents, damages, and malfunctions to management

Operates hand truck, palette and electric jack as needed

Maintains cleanliness and assures proper functioning of company trucks

Completes the driver portion of manifests legibly and distributes copies to appropriate places or people

Pay Rate: $22.00-$26.00

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening

Position Requirements

Qualified applicants must be able to pass DOT required drug test, physical, and complete a criminal background screen.

Education and Experience

HS Diploma or GED

Non CDL box truck driving experience

1+ years driving box trucks

Previous warehouse experience a plus but not required

DOT Med Card

Physical Demands:

Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds unassisted

Stand for extended periods of time

Climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

Full-Time/Part-TimeFull-Time
