Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team in Trenton, NJ. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial transactions and ensuring accuracy in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing. Responsibilities:

Handle accounts payable processes, including timely and accurate payment to vendors.

Manage accounts receivable tasks, such as monitoring incoming payments and resolving discrepancies.

Process invoices efficiently to ensure proper documentation and compliance with financial standards.

Utilize accounting software systems to record and track financial transactions.

Prepare billing statements and ensure proper communication with clients and stakeholders.

Collaborate with team members to maintain accurate financial records and reporting.

Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure financial accuracy.

Address and resolve any issues related to financial operations promptly.

Maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive financial information.

Requirements - At least 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field.

Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

Familiarity with accounting software systems and tools.

Strong understanding of billing functions and financial reconciliation.

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Commitment to maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in financial operations.
