Description

We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team based out of Monmouth County, NJ. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient processing of invoices, payments, and employee expenses. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a strong background in accounts payable and proficiency with larger ERP systems.

Responsibilities:

Process vendor invoices with accuracy and maintain up-to-date accounts payable records.

Execute weekly payment runs, including Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions.

Manage check payments, including handling 15-20% of payments manually. The rest are electronic.

Review and process employee expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies.

Reconcile accounts payable transactions, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.

Assist with activities related to accounts payable.

Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and maintain compliance with financial procedures.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related role.

Proficiency in larger ERP systems for invoice processing and payment workflows.

Familiarity with ACH transactions and check payment processes..

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and vendors.
