Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee and manage the complete accounting cycle for our organization. Based in Mesquite, Texas, this role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in financial operations and leadership. The ideal candidate will have expertise in full-cycle accounting, team management, and proficiency in accounting software systems.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and ensure the accuracy of full-cycle accounting processes, including month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash transactions.

Manage and lead a team of accounting staff, providing mentorship and fostering an environment of collaboration and efficiency.

Utilize NetSuite as the preferred ERP system to streamline accounting operations and reporting.

Perform detailed financial reconciliations to ensure compliance and accuracy in all accounts.

Review and approve journal entries to maintain the integrity of financial data.

Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial processes and resolve any discrepancies.

Analyze financial data and prepare reports to assist in strategic decision-making.

Lead audits and ensure all documentation is accurate and readily available.

Evaluate and improve accounting workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with demonstrated expertise in full-cycle accounting processes.

Proven ability to manage and lead a team of 3-5 accounting professionals.

Proficiency in NetSuite and other accounting software systems.

Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and reconciliations.

Experience with ERP systems, such as NetSuite, and financial tools like BlackLine and Concur.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Familiarity with auditing processes and maintaining compliance standards.

Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
