Description Robert Half Talent Solutions is working with a growing organization in West County searching for a Staff Accountant.
Staff Accountant responsibilities include:
Assisting with day-to-day accounting responsibilities including A/P, A/R, payroll and general ledger.
Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and other balance sheet account reconciliations.
Ongoing review of Internal controls, process improvement and review of policies & procedures.
Assisting with the preparation of schedules and requests from external auditors.
Reconcile intercompany accounts.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Staff Accountant qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
1+ year of general accounting experience
ERP software exposure, intermediate MS Excel

At least 1 year of experience in general accounting roles.
Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Familiarity with general ledger management and journal entry processes.
Experience with month-end close procedures and intercompany accounting.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and exposure to accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
