Management Resources is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant for our client in Fort Worth. This is 100% remote within the US. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an opportunity to play a critical role in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and driving efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate financial insights to a variety of stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Contribute to budgeting processes and support Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) initiatives.

Manage cost accounting responsibilities, including inventory accounting

Handle diverse accounting tasks such as property tax management, insurance tracking, and maintaining compliance documentation.

Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Assist in implementing and optimizing QuickBooks Online across different business units.

Provide financial insights and actionable recommendations to non-financial stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelors in Accounting or Finance, with over 5 years experience as a Senior Accountant

Proven expertise in account reconciliation, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations.

Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entry processes.

Proficiency in financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and QuickBooks Online.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.

Experience managing month-end close processes and preparing financial statements.

Solid understanding of cost accounting principles, particularly in inventory management.

Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
